HEY! NEW NWS RELEASE!
super proud of this one. I have gotten so much better at using DAWs and even recorded some bass, ukulele and guitar physically for this one. overall, much deeper release. more uses of dynamics, EQ, layers, and i tried to focus some more of a real drum set sound and a bigger use of guitars rather than electronic set and synths. there is a little of everything. rock, indie rock, synth pop, some jazz.
the name alaska was originally intended for the single and the last track of this album, because the track was a birthday gift for my friend olivia who lives in alaska. however, it came to mean much more as it represents to me how big the world is, and how far apart everything is, as well as my desire to travel, and make the world a little smaller.
a total of 19 tracks were condensed down to the best 13. some symbolism of the salem witch trails, mental health, religion, and fun all reside here in some form. thank you guys for listening. this album will be available on all platforms as well.
